Just because it’s a family car doesn’t necessarily mean that it has to be drab! Families can opt for a stylish and even an ostentatious ride if that is what their hearts desires. A great option for families is the upcoming 2010 Ford Grand C-Max that’s been recently unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show that’s taking place right at this moment. Even though it’s not yet been officially unveiled, photos of this model have been circulating the net for quite some time already.

And I must say, based from the pictures I’ve seen, the 2010 Ford Grand C-Max looks wonderful! It looks very compact for a seven-seater. Yup, it is designed to be a people hauler. It has a somewhat pointed front end. The sloping hood goes on to the big grille. The grille and air intake looks kind of big but maybe Ford is aiming to make engine cooling more convenient. However, the slanting headlight looks quite attractive and reliable. Ford calls it a “kinetic design.”
The 2010 Ford Grand C-Max is based on the company’s C-platform architecture. The C-max will get its power from the new 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder. Comfort and luxury can be found within its interior. It has a button-intensive dash that is dominated by a massive control knob that manages a small display screen.
The Ford Grade C-Max is unveiled together with its brother, the Ford C-Max. They share almost the same features, except for the size and its passenger capacity. While the Grand C-Max is a seven-seater vehicle, the C-Max on the other hand is a five-seater model.

If you are in store for a new car this 2009 I recommend the Ford Mondeo Estate. This vehicle is just the right size and design for family use. To sway you to my way of thinking, here are benefits of the Ford Mondeo Estate. It is spacious, has refined performance, and is affordable to run! What else could you want?
Even from the outside the first thing you will notice about the car is its size. When you go inside you will not be disappointed because it’s really spacious. Getting in and out of the vehicle is a breeze because of the wide-opening doors and less wheelarch intrusion. Once seated you can’t help but be overcome by the coziness and great ambiance of the interior. Since there are lots of leg and shoulder room you will never feel cramped when you and your family go on long distance travels. Road travels will never be the same again with Mondeo’s complete interior set up. It has air-conditioning, cruise control, remote central locking, powered front windows, heated quick-clear windscreen, and a CD player with MP3 connectivity to make each road trip even more enjoyable.
You can have your engine of choice in the Mondeo because this vehicle is available in nine engines – five petrols and four diesels. Reviews recommend the 2.0-liter 138bhp turbodiesel which make up the vast majority of sales because it makes the car purr superbly. There’s also the 2.5-liter petrol engine that provides excellent road performance. A six-speed automatic transmission is available with the 2.3-liter petrol and the 2.0-liter diesel. Safety is not left out during the production of the Mondeo Estate. It has been tested and came out tops in terms of crash and pedestrian safety.
Handling and maneuverability is ideal in the Ford Mondeo Estate. Your family will surely enjoy their ride in this stylish and comfortable vehicle.
