Hyundai iMax: The Versatile Family Car

On my way to school back in my college days, I would pass by lots of minivans. One of the brands that really turn my eyes is Hyundai. It stuck to my head that someday I’d like to have one just like it. That little wish hasn’t materialized yet, but I’m hopeful. By the time I’ll be able to afford to, Hyundai vehicles will be more attractive-looking with even better features. Just take a look at the 2009 Hyundai iMax. This model looks so much better than the Starex van that took my fancy way back. In fact, the iMax is another perfect family car because of its space, versatility, and value.

First thing that heads of the family look for in a car is space. No worries with the 2009 iMax because it offers enormous space. Its second row of seats have slide feature for versatility. There is enough space to accommodate 8 people – children and adults – with enough legroom and headroom left for comfort. Aside from accommodating people comfortably, your luggage will not suffer any damage since it has 851l luggage space. It’s thanks to the unique structure and design that this massive space is possible. All in all, the iMax is 5125mm long with 3200mm wheelbase and 1925mm high.

Comfort is provided in the interior. Great ambiance is supplied by the two-tone interior trim, six-speaker audio system and dual zone ducted air conditioning.

Aside from the size, iMax also offers great performance and handling. This vehicle is powered by a 2.5-liter CRDi turbo-diesel engine. An optional 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol engine is also available. A four-speed automatic transmission makes cruising smooth and effortless.

Families will find it secure because it comes equipped with needed safety features. These are: dual front airbags, remote keyless entry, alarm, and anti-lock brakes (ABS).

Other excellent features to look forward to in this car are: keyless entry, central locking, electric wing mirror adjustment, power front windows, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, remote fuel flap release, and an auxiliary input jack.

With all these features, aren’t you convinced yet that the 2009 Hyundai iMax is a great family car?
